To file for a Restraining Order in California, go to the Superior Court in your county. Find the civil court clerk and request a petition for a Restraining Order. At the courthouse, the clerk will provide you with the forms that you need to file. If you need assistance filling out the form, ask the clerk for help. You can find links to petitions online by going to Download Court Forms.

Listed below are telephone numbers and addresses for the clerks of the Superior Courts in California. You can find information on the court system in California at http://www.courts.ca.gov/2113.htm.
