Provides family support and parent education. Advocates visit families with children ages newborn-5 years to provide support and child guidance for families throughout Wahkiakum county. Also provides emergency shelter for up to 30 days, a 24-hour hotline, medical and legal advocacy, counseling, and referrals within the county for counseling, housing, and employment.

Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services of Whatcom County (DVSAS) serves domestic violence victims through advocacy, counseling, support groups, legal assistance, and community trainings. Walk-in services are available Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

Services include 24-hour telephone or in-person crisis intervention; emergency, confidential shelter; legal and medical advocacy; individual and group support; information and referral; and community education. Serves Whitman and Latah County residents free of charge.
