Midvale City Police Dept. - Victim Advocate Program
Midvale Police Department’s Victim Advocate Program has many different types of advocates. The Domestic Violence Advocate Program assists and supports persons in averting potential or continued domestic violence and promotes public education to enhance awareness, prevention and intervention of domestic violence. Services include: document support, referrals to support groups, translation service, counseling centers, and financial support, and advocates can attend court proceeding with victims in a support capacity. South Valley Services
South Valley Services offers services to victims of family violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, advocacy services, children’s learning center, counseling, case management, prevention, and shelter. All services are provided in English and Spanish. Translation services for any language are available 24 hours a day. Serving Salt Lake Valley and Utah County.
YWCA Utah
YWCA Utah offers adults and children, safety, support, and meaningful opportunities to build violence-free lives. Through its Domestic Violence Shelter Programs and Services, it offers services to victims of domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, support groups, life skills classes, personal advocacy, case management, individualized safety planning, emergency and extended shelter facilities, transitional housing, a residential self sufficiency program, and children’s advocacy and intervention program.
San Juan
Gentle Ironhawk Shelter
Gentle Ironhawk Shelter provides services to victims of domestic abuse and their children. Services offered are: counseling, faith-based training, in-house legal department, court translator training, and children’s summer camp.
San Juan County – Victim Advocacy Program
The Victim Advocacy Program of the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office provides help and services to victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault and stalking. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, safety planning, court support, assistance filing protective orders, civil stalking injunctions, and applications for Utah Legal Services and Crime Victim Reparations. They also provide resource referrals (shelters, mental health counseling, workforce services, adult protective services, DCFS, etc.), and transportation as needed.
Sevier
New Horizons Crisis Center
New Horizons Crisis Center offers services to victims of domestic violence, rape, and sexual assault, and the homeless. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, victim advocate services, protective orders, legal clinic, and support groups. Serving Sevier, Piute, Millard, Sanpete, and Wayne counties.
Summit
Peace House Domestic Violence Shelter
Peace House offers services to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, clinical and case management services, community outreach, prevention and awareness education, emergency housing, and victim advocacy. Peace House serves Summit County.
Summit County Victim Assistance Program
The Summit County Victim Assistance Program (SCVAP) exists to support victims and witnesses of all crime. Services include: education, referrals, and court support for victims and witnesses as their offender moves through the criminal justice system. Serving Summit County.
